Changelog
All the latest features, improvements, and fixes shipped to Genviral.
Seedance 2.5 is available in AI Studio
Generate videos up to 30 seconds with Seedance 2.5
Seedance 2.5 is now selectable in the AI Studio video composer and can be requested in Vira. It takes clips up to 30 seconds in one generation — double the previous limit — with native synchronized audio, spoken dialogue, and lip sync.
- •Attach nothing for text-to-video, a start and end frame for transitions, or reference images, videos, and audio for guided shots.
- •Outputs 480p and 720p in every Studio aspect ratio, including 9:16, 16:9, and 1:1.
- •Seedance 2.0 stays available and remains the default, so existing prompts and automations are unchanged.
A faster way to set up a generation in AI Studio
Speak your prompt, and pick several images at once
Tap the microphone in the Studio composer and talk instead of typing — your words are added to whatever is already in the box. Selecting images is now a batch too: upload or pick as many as you need and add them in one go.
Remix any result to make a variation
Hover a result and choose Remix to load the prompt, reference images, and settings that made it back into the composer. Change one detail and generate again, without setting it all up from scratch.
Bring images straight from the web into your slides
Swap a slide image by pasting a Pinterest link
Paste a Pinterest pin link in the slide image picker and it replaces the current slide image right away. The image is also saved to your uploads, so you can reuse it across other slideshows.
A new agent-first onboarding experience
Meet Vira through work made for your product
New workspaces now meet Vira through a guided setup that learns the product, audience, creative direction, and goals before preparing real starter content. The handoff opens into the same Vira conversation you can keep using after onboarding.
Start with production-ready creative directions
Onboarding now turns your answers into product-specific concepts, including a UGC storyboard, influencer directions, and starter slideshows. You can inspect the work as it is prepared instead of waiting through a generic setup screen.
Generation failures recover without losing your progress
If a starter storyboard fails, onboarding can rebuild it from the product context already collected and continue in the same authorized Vira thread. Empty or incomplete reveals are no longer treated as finished setup.
Inbox becomes the home for finished Vira work
Browse everything Vira finished in one searchable feed
Inbox now brings together completed scheduled tasks, delegated research, slideshows, Studio generations, and other background work. Search the feed, open the original conversation, and jump directly into the result without hunting through separate tools.
Preview media and inspect the latest result
Finished work now carries its real preview media and opens in a focused inspector on desktop. The newest result is promoted as the Inbox spotlight, with actions kept local to the item you are reviewing.
Automation settings are easier to understand and edit
Recurring Vira automations now use a master-detail view with readable summaries, schedules, status, and editable settings, so you can inspect what will run before changing it.
Vira turns your first week into an actionable plan
Meet Vira inside your first activation workspace
The post-onboarding experience now opens around your product-specific storyboard and the next decisions needed to move it forward. Vira can continue from the generated context instead of asking you to repeat your brief.
Weekly Briefs become draft content plans
Weekly Briefs now translate performance and content opportunities into concrete drafts you can review and act on, connecting insights to the next piece of work instead of ending at a report.
Viral Library searches recover when filters are too narrow
When a category and keyword combination returns no results, Vira now broadens the search in a controlled order while preserving what was changed. Useful inspiration no longer disappears because one filter combination was overly specific.
Competitor suggestions for ecommerce products
See who you're competing with — and what's working for them
Ecommerce products now get automatic competitor suggestions, just like apps already do. Genviral finds real brands in your space, you pick which ones to track, and your product setup surfaces what those competitors are posting so you always have fresh inspiration to work from.
Background work now returns real, openable results
Scheduled and delegated tasks render clickable artifacts
When Vira creates a slideshow, post, or Studio asset in the background, the finished conversation now includes the same rich artifact card as a live chat. Open the result directly instead of searching for it manually.
Understand Vira usage by plan and model
Usage limits now show live per-plan allowances and model cost comparisons, making it clearer how different model choices affect your available Vira budget.
Vira and the editor now work as one surface
Generate and edit video without leaving the timeline
Vira can generate clips, voiceovers, captions, and timeline changes while the editor stays open as the working surface. Completed video generations appear in the artifact panel and editor-bound work keeps its project context.
Build richer edits with multiple audio layers
Editor projects now support multiple audio clips with per-clip volume, making it possible to combine voiceover, music, and other audio in one editable timeline.
Vira's timeline edits stay visibly saved
After Vira changes an open project, the editor now recognizes the server-saved document instead of incorrectly switching back to Unsaved or issuing a redundant save that can race the active turn.
Delegated tasks report back automatically
Send longer work to the background
Vira can delegate longer research and production tasks to a dedicated background conversation, leaving the main chat free while the work continues with its own context and tool history.
Get an automatic report when the task finishes
Finished delegated tasks now resume the parent conversation with a concise synthesis and proposed next step. You no longer need to send another message just to make Vira notice that its background work completed.
Open the full research conversation as an artifact
Background results render as the real read-only conversation—with formatted answers, tool activity, sources, and produced artifacts—rather than a flattened block of raw text.
Rich background-task results and a steadier Vira
Finished tasks open as rich artifacts
A completed background task now appears as a quiet inline card that opens its status, usage, evidence, outputs, and dedicated conversation. Results stay available without interrupting the chat you are already in.
Tool approvals remain visible and recover on reload
Pending approvals are preserved through background persistence and page reloads, and multiple approval requests can be presented together instead of arriving as a confusing sequence of interruptions.
Vira responds faster through more stable prompt caching
The stable part of Vira's working context now reuses provider prompt caches more effectively, reducing repeated input processing while preserving the conversation and tool context needed for each turn.
Completed slideshows stop looking stuck
The bulk Slides queue now switches from Researching to Ready when generation actually completes, so finished decks no longer appear to be running indefinitely.
Slideshow generation status fixes
Slides queue now reflects when a deck is actually ready
A slideshow in the Slides queue could keep showing as still researching even after it had finished generating with real slides. It now updates to Ready as soon as generation completes.
A chat-first video editor and asynchronous slideshow creation
Control the video editor through Vira
The video editor now pairs the timeline with a persistent Vira workspace. Ask for cuts, generated clips, subtitles, voiceover, and other project changes while keeping the editable result in view.
Generate slideshow plans in the background
Slideshow planning now runs asynchronously, so larger research and planning jobs can continue without holding the page open. Progress and approvals remain visible while the work runs.
See what Vira is doing before the first tool result
Live status now appears as soon as a turn begins, closing the silent gap before research or generation produces its first visible output.
Vira gains broader access and consistent controls
Use Full Access for uninterrupted trusted workflows
Vira can now run approved classes of trusted tools without stopping for the same confirmation every time, while credit-consuming and sensitive actions continue to use the appropriate safeguards.
Choose effort and speed from every Vira composer
The full-page chat, dock, and product surfaces now share the same model effort and fast-mode controls, so a conversation keeps the behavior you selected wherever you continue it.
Content Labels, Track Record, and Weekly Briefs
Genviral now connects published content to reusable labels and a performance track record, giving Vira a stronger foundation for recurring Weekly Briefs and evidence-based recommendations.
Vira can delegate complex work
Launch a background task from the active conversation
Longer research and production requests can now run asynchronously in their own Vira thread. The active chat receives progress and completion notices while remaining available for other work.
Failures include useful diagnostics
When a delegated task cannot complete, its child-task details and failure context remain accessible from the parent conversation instead of collapsing into a generic error.
Stop, queue, or steer Vira while it works
Stop an active turn
You can now stop Vira while a response or tool workflow is running. Cancellation is recorded on the active turn and propagated through the live stream.
Queue your next messages
Add up to three pending messages while Vira is busy, remove one before it runs, and let each queued request start with fresh page context after the current turn settles.
Steer work already in progress
Send a short correction or extra instruction into the active turn so Vira can apply it at the next model step without abandoning the work already underway.
Consistent characters in the slideshow editor
Use a consistent character on any slide in Slides
When you build a slideshow from scratch in Slides, each slide can generate an image of your own trained character or a reference photo—the same consistent character available in the Media Library, AI Studio, and slideshow automations.
Train a character with as few as 5 photos
Character training now starts from just 5 photos instead of 30, so you can prepare a reusable character much faster while still adding more references when you want greater consistency.
Publish to Telegram and Mastodon
Schedule and post to Telegram
Connect a Telegram channel or group with your bot token, then publish text, images, videos, and albums from the same composer, queue, and calendar you use for every other social channel.
Schedule and post to Mastodon
Connect any Mastodon instance and publish text or media posts from Genviral alongside the rest of your social accounts.
Vira builds analytics dashboards in chat
Ask for a dashboard in plain language
Vira can turn an analytics question into a structured dashboard inside the artifact panel, combining the requested metrics and visualizations without forcing you to assemble the report manually.
Credit operations are safer to retry
Credit deductions and refunds now require stable idempotency keys, reducing the risk of duplicate charges when a generation or tool request is retried.
Vira understands richer product context
Persistent brand briefs for every product
Product evidence can now be synthesized into a saved brand brief with positioning, audience, palette, and pain points. Vira and other creation surfaces can reuse that context instead of rebuilding it for every request.
Open product context directly from Vira
When Vira reads a product, the conversation now renders a dedicated brand-brief artifact so you can inspect the context guiding its recommendations and generations.
Abandoned setup no longer leaves empty products behind
Product setup now waits for real context before creating the canonical product, preventing failed or abandoned analysis from filling the workspace with Untitled product entries.
More reliable slideshow sourcing
Auto image search reliably builds complete image pools
Slideshow automations using Auto image search now consistently complete and produce a full image pool, including campaigns with a light product brief and no style profile.
Bigger slideshows and smarter template copying
Copy a template with its original slide count
Using a Viral Content slideshow as a template now opens the editor with the same number of slide slots as the original instead of always defaulting to five.
Create slideshows with up to 20 slides
The slideshow cap increased from 10 to 20 slides for longer stories, deeper educational posts, and larger templates.
Meet Vira and automate recurring work
Continue onboarding in a Vira-led conversation
After setup, new users now enter a dedicated Meet Vira conversation that remembers their product and generated assets, learns their audience and goals, and can move directly into research, creation, scheduling, or account connection.
Schedule recurring tasks by asking Vira
Vira can create recurring jobs such as daily research or weekly planning. A dedicated settings page lets you review the schedule, run it now, pause or resume it, and delete it.
Receive completed scheduled work in Inbox
Scheduled-task results now arrive in an Inbox with unread counts and links back to the conversation containing the full result.
Vira becomes a complete creative workspace
Preview live work in the artifact panel
Slideshows, Studio generations, products, and other tool results can open beside the conversation in a persistent artifact panel. In-flight media updates from loading to completed output without making you leave the chat.
Attach images and review sources
Vira chat now supports image attachments, cited sources, richer streamed answers, collapsible tool activity, visible confirmations, and a token meter with automatic conversation compaction.
Research the Viral Library before generating
Vira can list inspiration packs and search the Viral Content library before planning a slideshow, grounding creative decisions in formats that already exist instead of jumping straight to generation.
Follow multi-step work as it happens
A clearer working history, task lists, reasoning summaries, inline citations, and tool-result sections make longer Vira workflows easier to understand and supervise.
Bulk character swap and better Studio templates
Run character swaps in the background
Create multiple character-swap variations from one source video while the jobs continue in the background. Each variation receives its own prompt while remaining grounded in the original scene and motion.
Sort and favorite Studio templates
The Studio Templates tab now makes reusable starting points easier to organize and return to while preparing new generations.
Slideshow Creation from the Media Library
Send selected images straight into the slideshow editor
Pick one or multiple images in the Media Library and open them directly in Slides Studio, with the slideshow creation modal already preloaded so you can keep going without reselecting assets.
Create manual slideshows without adding text
If you switch a slideshow to Manual, every slide text field is now optional, so you can publish image-only slideshows when that's all you need.
App Store Screenshots & Media Library Polish
Smarter App Store Screenshots
Add a downloads social-proof badge (10K+ → 10M+) above your first screenshot from the new Settings panel, drag and drop to reorder slots in the Configure list, and let Auto lead with a true hero opener.
- •New exploded mockup composition floats UI cards out of the device frame for visual variety across a set
Rename folders in the Media Library
Folders in the Media Library now have a Rename option in the more-actions menu ("...") in both grid and list view. Pick Rename, type the new name, and Save — the folder updates in place and everything inside keeps working.
Richer Product Profiles & Media Library Polish
iOS App Store context on your products
When you connect a product, Genviral can now pull in the matching iOS App Store listing — icon, title, description, screenshots, ratings across markets, and recent reviews — so AI-generated content starts from real product context. If your website doesn't link the app, paste the App Store URL and Genviral fetches it for you.
Find media faster with better search and sort
The Media Library search now works inside folders and matches slideshow titles alongside filenames. The sort menu also gained more options — sort by name, upload date, or file size, in either direction.
One-click Select All and clearer toolbar
A new Select All button in the Media Library toolbar picks every item in the current view (click again to clear), and every toolbar action now has a tooltip on hover.
List view in the Media Library, with sortable columns and video previews
Switch the Media Library between grid and list view from the toolbar — the choice is remembered in your browser. List view shows file name, type, size, and upload date in a clean table with click-to-sort columns, animated previews of the first frame for videos and slideshows, and full drag-and-drop into folders just like the grid.
Duplicate files, slideshows, and folders
Make instant copies of any media item or whole folder from the Media Library — right-click menu, hover menu on cards, or row menu in list view. Folders duplicate recursively (all subfolders and items) and the new folder lands next to the original with a (Copy) suffix.
Seedance 2.0 References in AI Studio
Seedance 2.0 now supports image, video, and audio references
Use one Seedance 2.0 model in AI Studio and add optional reference images, videos, audio clips, start/end frames, or native audio generation depending on the shot you want.

Smarter Scheduling Awareness & Template Saving
Overlap warnings for automation campaigns
Genviral now detects when multiple campaigns are posting to the same account and alerts you before scheduling. You'll also see a warning on the Automations page if any account has overlapping active campaigns, so you can review and adjust post times from your Social Posts page.
- •Inline warning in the schedule step when an account already has active campaigns
- •Persistent notification after scheduling if posts overlap on the same day
- •Overview banner on the Automations page highlighting accounts with multiple active campaigns
AI Assistant now responds on the first message
The AI Assistant reliably responds to your very first message in a new conversation. Previously, the first message could appear to be ignored, requiring you to send it again.
Slideshow templates now save with auto-assigned images
Saving a slideshow template no longer requires an image pack to be selected first.
Consistent Character
Consistent Character image generation
Train on yourself or anyone — upload reference photos to learn their look, then generate new images of them in any scene, pose, or setting. Select a trained character, optionally add a scene image, and describe the shot you want. Available in AI Studio and Automations.

Delete published posts from the post library
Published posts on hosted accounts can now be deleted directly from the post library — the same bulk-delete flow you already use for scheduled posts. Published posts are queued for removal from the platform and update their status automatically.
TikTok saves now tracked in analytics

Drag & Drop Rescheduling + Bulk Select

In the monthly calendar view, grab any scheduled post and drop it on a different day to reschedule it instantly. A confirmation dialog lets you fine-tune the exact time before saving. Post cards now also show the platform icon and account username at a glance.
Select or deselect all posts at once in the Social Hub
When using multi-select in the Social Hub grid view, you can now select all posts on the page with one click — or deselect them just as quickly. Makes managing large batches of scheduled content faster and easier.
Redesigned Slideshow Editor
Slideshow editor is now slimmer and faster to use
The slideshow editor has been completely redesigned. The sidebar is gone — all controls now live in a compact toolbar at the top of the editor. Text styling, image options, and slide settings are accessible in fewer clicks, so you spend less time navigating and more time creating.
Web Search & Auto Image Search for Slideshows
